Embrace the cozy vibes of Canadian fall with mouthwatering Maple Pecan Butter Tarts!

Here's how to whip up this delectable treat:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of cold unsalted butter, cubed
1/4 cup of cold water
1 cup of pure Canadian maple syrup
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 cup of chopped pecans
Directions:
In a food processor, combine flour and cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add cold water and pulse until the dough forms. Wrap it in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the chilled dough and cut into rounds to fit your muffin tin. Press the dough into each cup.
In a bowl, mix maple syrup, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans.
Pour the maple-pecan mixture into each pastry-lined muffin cup, filling about 2/3 full.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tarts are set and golden brown.
Let them cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy your homemade Maple Pecan Butter Tarts with a hot cup of tea or coffee!
